Topics of discussion include diet and herbals for postpartum, meditation and breath work, Ayurvedic mother and infant massage, as well as the importance of support and proper rest for a complete recovery, ideal lactation and the most sacred, special time a mother and baby can have together.

It is becoming more apparent in the west that the quality of the mother's pregnancy, and her state of well being mentally, spiritually, physically and emotionally directly effects the well being of the baby. Ayurveda has known this for thousands of years and contains deep traditions for month to month care for an expectant mother.
